Big Idea Forums
Artists are almost always dreamers. They’re usually told numerous times that they think too big, that they need to get their feet on the ground and their heads out of the clouds. We’re all about keeping your head in the clouds – but we’re into the whole feet on the ground thing, too. A large part of why we’re here is to help artists learn how to do both at the same time: dedicate their lives to their art while NOT starving alone in a garret somewhere. It is possible for your art to be your real job, to actually do something with your big ideas. But most of the time, in addition to your passion and will power, you need some help to get those big ideas off the ground.
This is your chance to bring your biggest idea to a group of people who are experienced and crazy enough to help you do something with it. This is only for people who are actually seriously interested in taking action, who want to know – really and truly – whether it’s possible or not, and who are ready to commit to doing it rather than thinking or talking about it. The night (isn’t everyone more passionate and creative after dark?) will consist of scheduled presentations of your biggest idea before a panel of creative professionals and experts who have the expertise to point you in the right direction – and help you discover, once and for all, whether or not you actually are crazy.
