I feel like I have always been making messes in an attempt to create something that is engaging, appealing, magnificent, killer, stunning, or beautiful. I have made many ugly things, a few beautiful things, and hundreds of messes. These messes are generally composed of glue, paint, wire, paper clippings, fabric, glitter, photos, etc. I make these messes because I love beautiful art and I want to try my hand at it.
Luckily for me, I prefer photography above all other artistic mediums. Photography, one of the least “messy mediums,” and I am currently studying it in Nashville. I hope to spend the rest of my life making images of beautiful things, places, and especially people. I am most interested in black and white portraits. These are my favorite photos to take, and I have seen many taken by others that are, in my opinion, some of the most beautiful images ever created.
Life is amazing, people are phenomenally curious and captivating, and art enriches the world. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life making beauty in black and white. I cannot wait to see what others will create. And I cannot wait until the next moment comes along when I am inspired to make a wonderful mess.
